Enjoy some time away from your Los Gatos real estate getting into the holiday spirit by attending the 61st Annual Los Gatos Children’s Christmas/Holidays Parade. This event will take place on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at 11 a.m. No matter the weather, the parade will go on, so dress appropriately. Expect the parade to last for a few hours and also keep in mind that many streets will be closed downtown before, during, and after the parade, so try to carpool or be prepared to walk a ways. Parking is available in areas that are not closed for the parade, just know that traffic will be heavy around parade time.
Make the Parade a Holiday Tradition Near Your Los Gatos Home
Once you find a place to park, search for a nice place to watch the parade along the route. The parade will start on Almendra Ave. S at North Santa Cruz Ave. It will then continue down North Santa Cruz Ave. to Main Street where it will keep going until Church Street, where the parade will end. Wave to friends and relatives who call Los Gatos home and are participating in the parade. Enjoy the music from the bands and think about which holiday themed entry is your favorite. Make this a family tradition, as it occurs the first Saturday of every December.
This event is put on thanks to Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation.
