In honor of Valentine’s Day, Keller Williams Bay Area Estates wants to highlight the ways that Keller Williams works to create a positive impact in communities and in the lives of agents. Of course, the company provides many tools and lots of training for agents to jumpstart a great real estate career. But Keller Williams also knows that agents and offices are part of communities. Over the years, the company has started initiatives and organizations that support both.
In 2009, RED Day was established. RED stands for Renew, Energize, and Donate. Each year, the whole company participates in community service. The idea is that agents can be a force for good in their communities and work for positive change and renewal.
KW Cares was founded in 2003. The charity supports Keller Williams agents throughout the world in times of crisis, both personal as well as regional or national. Associates are encouraged to give to the charity so that we can be of help to our own agents during hard times. This is one of the ways we manifest the reality of our slogan “We are family”.
At Keller Williams, Your Real Estate Career Is Supported Every Step of the Way
While we aim to support our current agents and offices, the company also knows that the key to success is investing in the future. To that end, Gary Keller came up with the vision for KW Kids Can. The nonprofit organization uses the Keller Williams strong training and education systems to inspire young people. The KWKC works with the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders to encourage them in creative thinking and to take calculated risks to generate wealth. Most of all, KWKC hopes to give the next generation a passion and sense of responsibility to find ways of living generously while also fulfilling their business goals.
Because of the demands of a real estate career, agent health and wellbeing is very important to Keller Williams. The KW Wellness Program was established to help agents find ways to incorporate fitness and wellness practices into their routines. Wellness Day is an annual event of activity to promote healthy living.
