Fall has arrived and the Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch is open and right near your San Jose home. Climb aboard the Spina Express Train and take a tour of the pumpkin patch. What better way to narrow down the field and find the spot your perfect pumpkin is hiding in! Journey on a hay ride to the orange and yellow golden sunflower fields, taking in the beauty of the flowers, and of the autumn day.
The Harvest Tram, new this year, is a pint sized tram pulled by a small John Deere tractor. Designed especially for the littlest pumpkin patch visitors, it is perfectly sized to give tiny tots an exciting ride. Bring lunch from your San Jose home to enjoy in the picnic area or grab snacks from the Snack Shack. Weekends at the patch are extra fun with pony rides down pumpkin trails and a petting zoo filled with friendly animals. This piece of San Jose real estate, first established in 1944, provides the perfect autumn ambiance to establish an annual yearly family tradition. Open the full month of October from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m, Sunday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday. So forget the store bought pumpkins and head on down to the patch for some autumn fun. More details are available at Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch.
