San Jose real estate owners who love Shakespeare should check out Silicon Valley Shakespeare. This company is dedicated to bringing Shakespeare to life and giving the bard’s plays a little update. The latest show is Love’s Labor Lost, and it has been reimagined with a mash-up of 90s music. The play will be performed at Willow Street Park, located near San Jose homes. The performances are free, so pack a picnic and bring a low-backed chair and a blanket to sit comfortably. Love’s Labor Lost will open on June 10th and run until the 26th.
Children from San Jose Homes Go to Theatre Camp
Kids can get into Shakespeare this summer at a two-week theater camp which runs from June 20th to July 1st. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., campers will get hands-on with all aspects of live drama. They’ll learn improvisation techniques, stage management, and technical details. Along the way, kids will also develop leadership and teamwork skills, as well as self-confidence. The camp culminates with an abridged production of Hamlet.
