Before the big dinner on Thanksgiving, head out to downtown Silicon Valley real estate for the 12th Annual Turkey Trot. Join thousands of other area runners and walkers on a flat course that will take you through business areas, as well as beautiful residential Silicon Valley property. Get in a good workout before you dig in to the turkey and pies! The Turkey Trot is also a great way to raise money for local charities. Over the last 12 years, the race has raised $5.9 million for local food banks, healthy kids initiatives, and housing help. Give thanks for all your blessings and help others in need.
Run Through Commercial and Residential Silicon Valley Property
Everyone living on Silicon Valley real estate can get involved. There is a short fun run for kids ages two through seven. Elite runners can participate in the men’s and women’s 5K races. More intense runners can sign up for a 10K race. Competitors in wheelchairs participate in a 10K race sponsored by Kaiser Permanente. Check in begins at 6:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, November 24th. Online registration is open until 6 a.m. that morning. There will be no on-site registrations. Along with the races, there are several fun events planned. A Kids Fun Zone opens at 8:30 a.m. There will also be a festival, with cool booths, including care from Palmer Chiropractic College.
