The San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles will help everyone look at the items made of fabric in their San Jose home a little differently. Gain a new appreciation of the beauty and complexity of creating artistic and functional pieces out of fabric and thread by perusing the permanent and rotating collection at the museum. Visit anytime between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the weekends. Admission is $8 for adults, $6.50 for seniors and students, and children 12 and under are free. There is a special the first Friday of each month (Except January and July) where everyone can pay what they can for admission between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and can get in completely free from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This special is a great opportunity for San Jose real estate owners to come see what this museum is all about.
